This is the kind of update that brings relief but still leaves everybody holding their breath. Ten of the 15 NYSC members abducted in Kogi have been rescued—a hard-won bit of good news in a situation nobody should have to face.
The corps members were abducted by suspected bandits along the Aloma–Egane Expressway in Ofu Local Government Area, Kogi State. With 10 rescued, five people remain unaccounted for in this update. The Kogi State Police Command announced the rescue.
